These are my favourite shops.
In Bury town centre is the refurbished MillGate shopping centre, with ample shops catering for all needs. Its luscious plant life and street furniture attract local people as well as an ever growing number of visitors from around the region. Right next door is the famous Bury Market, which is a traditional open market, recently being refurbished. Not to be missed though if visiting this wonderful town is the famous black puddings. This fashionable course tastes its best in its home town. Lancashire hotpot is a popular pub speciality and every district has its own quality fish and chip shop and kebab house.
Within ten miles of Bury centre you can find several restaurants, which regularly make the national Good Foods Guide.
